For the purposes of this list, a music director typically plays piano for rehearsals and performances, in addition to teaching the vocal parts, keyboard-conducting the orchestra, and collaborating creatively with the director regarding the music. A keyboard-conductor directs the orchestra while playing the primary keyboard. An accompanist or show pianist is the primary keyboardist for the show but does not conduct or teach parts. Acting roles are designated with the character name "in quotation marks."
